Summer 2024 Clinics
If your athlete is new to the sport or is in need of more development of their field and stick skills, the Summer 2024 Clinics are structured to help train field players at the early and intermediate (those who have played a season or two of competitive games) levels of experience. Each session will have a different dynamic focus and will be led by AVA Magic's U10 Purple Coach, Lauren McCarey, an alumna and former player of Williams College in Williamstown, MA.
The clinics are open to RISING THIRD GRADERS through rising eighth graders ('24-'25 academic year). all sessions will be held at alexandria country day school (2400 russell rd).
Rising 3rd - 8th Graders ($60 for each individual session + transaction fee; $165 for all three sessions + transaction fee)

Sunday, May 26: 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. (ACDS Turf Field) DEFENSIVE FOCUS
Saturday, June 1: 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. (ACDS Turf Field) ATTACKING AND SCORING
Athletes will need field hockey sticks, mouth guards, turf shoes or sneakers, and shin guards; however, we will have sticks to loan and mouth guards to give if your player is need of either or both.
